GOLDING FARMS FOOD’S WINSTON-SALEM, NC FACILITY EARNS SQF 2000, LEVEL 3 CERTIFICATION August 9, 2010 – Golding Farms Foods, a manufacturer of sauces, dressings and liquid condiments located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, is proud to announce that we have achieved an SQF 2000 level 3 certification by the Safe Quality Food (SQF) Institute. This certification is in recognition of its food safety and quality assurance practices. SQF is designed for manufacturers, processors and distributors. Level 3 is the highest Safe Quality Foods Qualification that can be attained under SQF 2000, a GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) standard. "Producing safe food is a priority for all food manufacturers," said Jill Hollingsworth, group vice president of food safety programs at FMI. "Achieving SQF certification provides verification that a supplier's food safety and quality management system complies with international and domestic food safety regulations. This enables suppliers to assure their customers that food has been produced, processed, prepared and handled according to the highest possible standards, at all levels of the supply chain." “We are extremely proud of this certification”, says Tony Golding, owner and President of Golding Farms Foods. “Our company is dedicated in its commitment to our consumers. We have always held ourselves to a higher standard and this certification is proof of that.” Golding Farms Foods originated in the Winston-Salem area and conducts all its manufacturing locally. Golding Farms Foods’ high quality kosher certified Honey, Mustards, Steak Sauces, Dressings, and Vinaigrettes are found in major grocery chains nationwide. Mrs. Campbell’s Chow Chows, Mountain Ridge Honey and Little River Seafood Sauces are also products of the company.
